Why we exist

Cardiovascular medicine moves fast, and the evidence behind it is scattered across journals, registries, congress halls and society documents. A clinician who wants to know what a trial actually showed, what a guideline actually says, or what is due next year has to hunt for it. Cardio Therapeutic Updates exists to do that hunting once, properly, and to keep the result current.

What we make

Each site in the collection takes one subject and covers it whole: the landmark studies and the newest ones, every outcomes trial, the agents in development, the guidelines and consensus statements, educational video from partners, and a timeline of what is due. Every item is dated, summarised in plain professional English and linked to its original source. The original source remains the authoritative reference.

The sites are built as libraries rather than news feeds. A library is complete and stays complete; new evidence is added the day it appears, and nothing that mattered disappears because it is old.

Who we are

Cardio Therapeutic Updates is an initiative of K Enterprises B.V. and Lemmid B.V.

K Enterprises brings the medical and editorial direction: what belongs in a library, how a study should be read, which trials and guidelines matter to a practising clinician, and the relationships with the societies, publishers and educators whose work the sites reference.

Lemmid brings the platform: the sites are built and run on the Lemmid Platform, a set of web services made in Amsterdam since 2016, with the publishing pipeline that turns curated evidence into fast, dependency-light pages that will still load in ten years.

How we work

We read public sources, condense and link back. New papers are found in the literature databases the day they are indexed, drafted against a written editorial brief, checked against hard rules (every number in a summary must appear in the abstract) and reviewed before they go live. Guidelines and trial facts are taken from the societies and registries that publish them. Educational videos are embedded with their publishers' permission. Our methods are disclosed on every site.

One account, every site

A free Cardio Therapeutic Updates account works on all sites in the collection. Members receive the newsletter with the evidence round-up, and we tailor what we show to their specialty. How we handle your data is set out in our privacy statement.
